In attendance was Mr. N.V. Pope of Penclawdd, Swansea, UK. Mr. Pope is the author of several publications including, "The Eye of the Beholder - The Role of the Observer in Modern Physics." Using logic, Mr. Pope reasoned the speed of light is not a true velocity, but rather an acknowledgement of a property of the Universe. In his booklet, The Eye of the Beholder, which was available at the conference and at his web site, Mr. Pope develops an impeccably clear logic concerning the natures of science and religion. David Thomson's comments about his ideas are here.
